Position Summary
We are looking for a Marketing and Social Media Intern to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in developing and implementing marketing and Social Media strategies to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts. You will be working closely with the Leadership Teams, Ownership and the Marketing Director.
Key Skills
Assist in the development, implementation and management of our social media strategy.
Have design program knowledge and be able to handle the creative, copy-writing and scheduling of posts. Adobe suite is preferred; however we can discuss comfort level and other design programs such as Canva.
Photography and videography experience is a plus.
Reply to social media messages and comments.
Collaborate with Dealership Team to keep in the know of current and future happenings.
Assist in the development of social media content.
Measure the success of every social media campaign.
Keep up to date on the latest social media best practices and technologies.
Use social media marketing tools for arrangement and scheduling, such as Planoly, Trello and others.
Create and send out regular email blasts using VinSolutions.
Update the Google business profile with regular posts and changes as well as Facebook/Instagram/ext. for business listing (keep photos updated and post new happenings).
Maintain charitable events, promotional events, and press releases.
Update content on the website which includes but is not limited to: events, posts, hours of operation, blog posts, promotions, etc.
Strong communication skills – written, verbal, persuasion, motivation.
Time management. Manage deadlines, remain creative and bring new ideas.
Provide weekly recaps and reports on analytics and social media as well as google analytics to Marketing Director for presentation.
Assist in the creation and running Social Media advertising campaigns.
Organize events on-site and off-site.
Maintain point of sale materials inside and outside of dealership.
